    Wet your hair, wet the shampoo bar.   Run the shampoo bar all over your head until your head is fully covered in suds.  P.S. this will not take long if your hair is short, the longer the hair, the longer you have to work the bar in.  You will have an amazing lather of bubbles and you shampoo and scrub as normal. Rinse your hair and repeat if needed.
